That is why we have created several options so you can plan their future with a single payment.
A new family, chosen for them
We find their new family.
€7,000One-off payment
An option designed especially for large dogs, dogs classified as potentially dangerous (PPP in Spain), or dogs who may be harder to rehome.
For €7,000, Can Penedès takes responsibility for your dog and keeps them with us for as long as it takes to find their ideal family.
During this time, they will receive
- Accommodation and upkeep.
- Food.
- Veterinary attention whenever they need it.
- Care and companionship.
- An assessment of their temperament and needs.
- A search for a compatible family.
- An assessment of the new home.
- Support while they settle in.
For small dogs or cases where rehoming may be easier, please speak to us first. We will assess each situation individually and explain the best option.
Their second home: Can Penedès
A home for life.
If you would prefer your dog to stay with us for the rest of their life, you can choose from three options, each with a one-off payment.
Junior Room
More space and comfort.
€15,000 One-off payment
Includes everything in the Standard option, with a larger, more comfortable Junior room offering something extra.
The standard of food, attention and veterinary care is exactly the same. The difference lies in the space and amenities.
Suite
That little extra.
€20,000 One-off payment
Our most exclusive option. Includes everything in Junior, with our Suite, an extra-special space and a pool.
For families who want to give their dog that little extra.
Care included in all three options

Dana: a real example

Like Dana, other dogs have lived with us for long periods and made their lives here, sharing everyday life with our team and the other dogs.

Who is behaviour reorientation for?
It is for situations where a family cannot adapt to living with the dog, for example when biting behaviour is involved. Contact the team to discuss the case.
Does reorientation guarantee a new family will be found?
The aim is to re-educate the dog to help make it possible to find a suitable family. The team needs to explain the options and process after learning about each situation.
